“Getting a massage at home can be an incredibly relaxing and therapeutic experience. With the right supplies and techniques, you can enjoy a soothing massage from your home – or mine. Before we get started, you'll need to find a comfortable space to lay down. The master bed is long enough for you to fully stretch out.” Jenny says, after I’ve told her about this week at work.
I had a stressful day at work today, trying to figure out the issue with a client's computer system. As an IT engineer, I'm used to dealing with difficult technical problems, but it felt like this one was particularly tricky. I worked for hours, trying different solutions, but nothing seemed to work. Eventually, I figured out a new approach that got the job done. I was relieved to have solved the issue but I knew this wasn't the end. I checked my work multiple times to make sure there were no underlying problems that could cause the system to fail in the future. After I was confident that everything was running smoothly, I documented my solution so that I could look back at it in case a similar problem ever arose again. Still, a massage sounded like a great way to alleviate any remnants of stress.
“Okay, sounds nice,” I say as she leads me to her room to lay down. There’s a glimmer in her eyes, like she’s been just waiting for me to have a bad day so that she can swoop in and make it better.
“Strip to your undies, and lay face down.” Jenny fluffs a pillow. She signals for me to relax on there and I do. Jenny starts on my back after getting a few things from the draw.
